Activity Leader (Spring 2018)

James Bay Community School Centre

As an activity leader, I worked with children ages preschool to grade five in a recreational setting before and after school. In particular, I got to work with children in grade one and two. Duties included planning and leading various activities including crafts, outdoor play, group meetings, and walking trips.

North Vancouver Boys and Girls Club

As a summer camp leader, I worked with children aged grade one to grade seven. Responsibilities included program planning, leading an activity, and taking kids on out trips.

Westcoast Sightseeing

At Westcoast Sightseeing, I gained hands-on experience in the tourism industry. Main duties included selling hop-on hop-off bus tickets, checking tickets on buses, providing high quality customer service, effectively working with money, and offloading passengers off of the cruise ships at Canada Place.

As a cashier, I processed shopping orders and provided high quality customer service. Responsibilities included effective use of the computer system, making change, and providing an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.
